Distribution
South-east Asia: found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

- Central New Guinea (Snow and Nassau mountains)
- P. b. bivittata:
- High mountains of south-eastern New Guinea
Habitat
Mountain forests and sub-alpine shrubland.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists almost entirely of insects which are caught aerially.
