Overview
Deer, quail, waterfowl, hawks, squirrels, bob cats, 200 birds, and others that make their homes there. People driving along Farm Road are often treated to the sight of the park s herd of longhorn cattle and bison grazing peacefully with their young.

During the spring-summer weekends the park is packed with people. Birding watching needs to be done before 8am.

Access and Facilities
Shelby Farms is located approximately 3-4 miles off I-40, exit 16 south in Germantown, Tennessee (Greater Memphis).
The park has nearly eight miles of paved trails, plus many more unpaved trails. It has 30 fishable lakes, and non-motorized boating is permitted on two of the larger lakes. Visitor Centre and lots of other activities.
The Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset. [1]
