Australasia: Mountains of Espíritu Santo (Vanuatu)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

This species was formerly included in Guadalcanal Thicketbird.

Habitat

Mostly found in mountainous humid mossy forest.

Behaviour

They forage in the undergrowth probably for small insects.
