Andes of Colombia to western Bolivia (La Paz and Cochabamba)
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Found in damp mountainous forest areas, thick cloud forests, fringes of forests, and heavier vine growth at elevations of just under 1900 meters/6200 feet to 3300 meters/10,800 feet and as low as 400 meters/1300 feet in Southwestern Colombia.
