Southeast Asia: found in Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Malay Peninsula, Indonesia, Greater Sundas and Sumatra.

Formerly placed in genus Ficedula.

Habitat
Montane forests.
Behaviour
They look for food on the ground.
