Identification

9.5 cm. Male plumbeous, black bib and upper belly, black wings with white spots on coverts, blackish tail. Dark slender bill. Female has grey head, paler on throat, pale buffy-rufous upperparts. Brighter tail. Rufous-buff underparts.

Moist lowland forests.
