- Grey brown upperparts
- Grey to white underparts

Distribution
Breeds southern Siberia to Sea of Okhotsk; winters to southern China to south-eastern Asia
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1]. Recent research suggests that this species belongs to a new genus, uniting the East Asian Erithacus and Luscinia Robins. It is therefore moved from the genus Luscinia to the genus Larvivora.
Habitat
Coniferous and light woodlands, village gardens.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes insects.
Breeding
The nest is built in a tree and the clutch consists of 3-6 eggs.
