Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, & Thailand.

Habitat
Forest edges and second growth, bamboo and rice fields. Also on plains up to 1500 m in Malaysia.
Behaviour
Diet
Grass and bamboo seeds, rice and possibly sedge seeds too.
