Overview
This north Texas park is more than 20,000 acres in size, and is located south of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle. This state park protects the second largest canyon in the United States.
Palo Duro Canyon SP is site no. PHP 040 on the Panhandle Plains Wildlife Trail.
