Location: Zigzang Road, Palawan, Philippines

Identification

A tiny bird, with a rufous-brown head, chestnut tail, and orange breast, fading to a paler buff colour on the throat and into white on the lower breast and belly.

Distribution

Endemic to Palawan and some of its satellite islands in the Philippines

Taxonomy

Habitat

Lowland primary forest as well as some secondary growth up to at least 650 m above sea level, and possibly up to 1,000 m.

Behaviour

It is believed that its diet includes insects and other small invertebrates.
