Identification

- Shiny black head
- White supra-loral spot
- White submoustachial stripe
- Yellow neckband
- Olive back and rump
- Black wings
Distribution
South America: found from southern Venezuela to the Guianas and northern Brazil (east of Rio Negro).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
They can be found in the canopy of tall forests and forest borders. Also mountain edge savanna.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists mostly of flies as well as other arthropods.
