United States, Texas

Overview

Nestled in the urban surroundings of Carrollton, Texas, (Dallas area) the Nob Hill Greenbelt is a unique natural area of ponds, woods, parkland, and meadow bordered by a spring fed stream, Furneaux Creek, that flows through the Greenbelt to the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. Take a morning nature walk here, and the Greenbelt will reveal its beauty to you: wildflowers and prairie grasses, migratory waterfowl and wading birds such as the Great Blue Heron and egret.
