Distribution

Scattered within Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

Taxonomy

  • M. i. pallida - Coastal n New Guinea (Idenburg River to Sepik River)
  • M. i. inepta - Trans-Fly lowlands of se New Guinea

Habitat

Moist lowland forests, mangrove forests, and swamps.
