Brown above, grey underparts, yellowish, downward-curving bill.
Distribution
New Caledonia but possibly extinct (not recorded since 1890).
Taxonomy
A monotypic species.
Habitat
Evergreen forests
Behaviour
Its diet consists of invertebrates, including earthworms.
