New Zealand, Gulf of Alaska and the Aleutian Islands.
Taxonomy
Habitat
They are highly pelagic, rarely approaching land.
Behaviour
Diet includes fish and squid, with some crustaceans taken.
It nests in burrows and rock crevices.
