Identification
Overall a dull olive-green bird with slightly more yellow on throat and undertail area. White eye-ring is narrowly broken in front by a blackish loral stripe. Above this is a bright yellow supraloral giving a spectacled look to the head.
Distribution
Meratus Mountains, South Kalimantan, southeastern Borneo.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
This is a newly described species (2022).
Habitat
Above 1200 m asl in montane forest.
Behaviour
Frequently in groups and may join mixed species flocks.
Vocalisation
Sings a series of short, high pitch notes with a warbling quality, that ends with increased speed and reduced pitch.
