Overview
The Marjel de Oliva/Pego is one of a series of wetlands that stretch the length of the Valencia Region in the Costa Brava. It has reserve status but unfortunately does not receive the protection that other larger reserves get around here.

Areas of Interest
The best areas vary with water levels but the track heading north to the hillside by the blue railings is usually a good area to start.
Access and Facilities
It can be found from the main N332 about 5kms south of Oliva. The main part is accessed from a minor road CV789 that heads west off the N332 and goes to Pego. The minor road cuts through the middle of the reeds and paddy fields with metalled drivable tracks on both sides.
