Identification

Long narrow beak, pale area on head. Wingspan: 60 –70 cm

Distribution

Islands of the tropical Indian Ocean, including the Seychelles.

Taxonomy

Habitat

Coastal and pelagic.

Behaviour

A small nest of leaves is built in trees. 1 egg laid.

Diet: Small fish, squid.
