  • C. j. josefinae - Mountains of western New Guinea (Vogelkop to Snow Mountains)
  • C. j. cyclopum - Cyclops Mountains (western New Guinea)
  • C. j. sepikiana - New Guinea (Sepik River and western Highlands to Mount Bosavi)
