Identification
20–25 cm (7¾-9¾ in)
- Purple-crimson forehead and crown with narrow yellow borders
- White throat
- Silvery-grey nape, sides of head, neck and breast
Distribution
Henderson Island, an uninhabited coral island in the south Pacific Ocean.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
They are to be found in any remaining forests with dense understorey.
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet consists of fruit from a variety of sources.
