Distribution
Western and Eastern Africa: found from southern Guinea and Sierra Leone to extreme north-eastern Angola and south-western Uganda
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Two subspecies are recognised by some authors: M. c. concolor and M. c. grisescens[2]
Habitat
A variety of (mainly lowland) forests and forest edges.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists mostly of insects, including moths, and caterpillars.
