Taxonomy
Formerly included in Dusky Cuckoo-Dove.
Subspecies
There are 2 subspecies[1]:
- M. m. macassariensis:
- South-western Sulawesi province: Benteng, Tanakeke and Salayar islands
- M. m. longa:
- Eastern Lesser Sundas (Tanahjampea and Kalatoa)
