There are 3 subspecies[1]:

  • D. a. anthonyi:
  • D. a. kampalili:
  • Southern Philippines (montane forests of Mindanao)
  • D. a. masawan:
  • Southern Philippines (Mount Malindang on north-western Mindanao)

Habitat

Uncommon in all levels in montane forest above 800 m. Observed at heights around 1700 meters.
