Distribution

Fiji islands.

Taxonomy

New Caledonian Streaked Fantail, Vanuatu Streaked Fantail, and Fiji Streaked Fantail were formerly considered a single species with the name of Streaked Fantail.

Subspecies

Clements recognizes these subspecies[1]:

• R. l. layardi:

Fiji (Ovalau and Viti Levu)

• R. l. erythronota:

• Fiji (Yaqaga and Vanua Levu)

• R. l. rufilateralis:

Taveuni (Fiji)
