Overview

The preserve contains 395 acres of forest, 354 acres of prairie, 141 acres of wetlands and ponds, and 33 acres of savannah. So far 254 species of birds have been recorded at the site.

A former uranium processing site that underwent environmental cleanup and is now a wildlife preserve managed by the U.S. Department of Energy.

It is located south of Hamilton off of Wiley Rd near St. Rt. 128.

Seven miles of trails lead through the preserve.
