Overview
Chapada dos Guimarães plateau is located 67 kilometers north of Cuiabá, the capital of Mato Grosso, Brazil. It makes up part of the Brazilian Cerrado. This ecosystem is similar to the African Savanna. There are many birding sites in Chapada to observe the birds that are different than those of Pantanal.
