- Long, thin bi-coloured bill
- Steep forehead

Distribution
South America: found in North East Brazil north of the Rio São Francisco (Ceará and Paraíba to Alagoas)
Taxonomy
Ceara Woodcreeper has been split from Lesser Woodcreeper
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
They are mainly to be found in rainforests of the coastal range and on humid montane tops.
Behaviour
Assumed to be similar in behavior to Lesser Woodcreeper.
Movements
Presumably resident.
Vocalisation
These birds sing two songs, one of which separate them from Lesser Woodcreeper. This specific song consists of few clear notes followed by a rapid, stuttering series which ascends in pitch and has the highest pitch at the last note.
