Genus: Pyrrhocoma
Description
If recognized, this genus would contain only one species, the Chestnut-headed Tanager.
A small, slender species exhibiting strong sexual dichromatism.
Taxonomy
If recognized, Pyrrhocoma would be a monotypic genus in the family Thraupidae.
Chestnut-headed Tanager is now included in the genus Thlypopsis.
