Genus: Nesocharis

Description

Olivebacks; from tropical Africa.
Both species have a grey and olive plumage. The feed mainly on seeds.

Taxonomy

Nesocharis is a genus in the family Estrildidae.
Possibly a new species may be found in Angola, a place with no previous mention of any oliveback occurring.
Grey-headed Oliveback has recently been placedin a separate genus Delacourella.
