Genus: Nannus
Description
This genus if recognized would contain three species, Winter Wren, Pacific Wren and Eurasian Wren.
Taxonomy
Nannus if recognized would be a genus in the Family Troglodytidae. The argument for using the genus Nannus would be to solve the dilemma that Winter Wren, commonly placed in genus Troglodytes, has closest relatives that are not placed in Troglodytes; instead, these (Marsh and Sedge Wrens) are placed in Cistothorus.
