Genus: Kupeornis
Description
This genus if active would contain the three species of Mountain-Babblers from Africa.
All three species have very short rictal bristles, a short to medium sized yellow bill, a pale iris, a capped appearance with erectile crown feathers, a short rounded tail and strongly curved hind claws.
Taxonomy
Kupeornis is a genus in the Family Leiothrichidae.
It was formerly included in the family Timaliidae.
The members of the genus now are found in the genus Turdoides.
