Description
A group of hummingbirds found in South America.
Taxonomy
Hylocharis is a genus in the Family Trochilidae.
White-eared Hummingbird and Xantus's Hummingbird were moved to genus Basilinna and other members were moved to Chrysuronia and to Chlorestes.
