Genus: Gymnoris

Description

Includes four species of Bush Sparrows.
They have a slender and slightly forked tail (square in Petronia) and a pointed and slender bill (heavy and conical in Petronia). They are also more arboreal than Rock Sparrow.

Taxonomy

Gymnoris is a genus in the family Passeridae.
Members of this genus are sometimes placed in genus Petronia
