Genus: Corcorax
Description
This genus contains only one species, the White-winged Chough from Australia.
This medium-sized passerine has rounded wings and long sturdy legs with feathered tibia. They spend most of their time on the ground.
Taxonomy
Corcorax is a monotypic genus in the family Corcoracidae.
It has also been placed within the Corvidae in the past.
