Description
Magpie-Jays are distinctive birds from Mexico and Central America.
They have very long tails and decurved erectile crown feathers. Both species are mainly blue and white.
Taxonomy
Calocitta is genus in the family Corvidae. The two species are sometimes considered conspecific.
This genus is also sometimes included in Cyanocorax.
