Distribution
Western Africa: found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Comoé, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo and Angola.

Habitat
Primary rainforest.
Behaviour
Flight
Their flight is fast and direct.
Breeding
The nest is built from twigs, leaves and other plant material and is placed in a tree. The clutch consists of 1-2 eggs.
Diet
The diet includes seeds, fallen fruits, insects, their larvae and slugs.
Movements
A sedentary species.
