  • Black crown and upper throat
  • White patch at side of neck
  • Greyish upperparts
  • Green flight feathers

Asia and Australasia
Southeast Asia: Indonesia
Australasia: Papua New Guinea, Melanesia

Taxonomy

Formerly placed in the genus Lichenostomus.

Habitat

Primary montane forest and forest edges.

Behaviour

Diet

Their main diet consists of nectar, insects and fruit, mainly foraging in the canopy.
