- Blackish forehead and crown
- Silver underparts
- Olive green back
- Brown iris
- Black bill and feet.
Distribution
Southeast Asia: found in Sumatra, Malay Peninsula, and Borneo.
Taxonomy

There are 2 subspecies:
- Z. a. viridicatus:
- Mountains of northern Sumatra
- Z. a. atricapilla:
Habitat
Mountain forests and alpine meadows in altitudes between 700 and 3000 m.
Behaviour
Breeding
They nest in trees and lay 2-4 unspotted pale blue eggs.
Diet
The diet includes mainly insects, but nectar and fruit are also taken.
