Identification
33–35 cm (13-13¾ in)
- Creamy-white head, neck and upper breast
- Black mantle and wings
- Greyish rump and upper-tail coverts
Distribution
North-central Australia (western escarpment of Arnhem Land).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
It was formerly included in Banded Fruit Dove.
Habitat
Remains of rainforest on sandstone cliffs.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of a variety of fruits, including figs and wild tobacco.
