Distribution
A rare and local endemic of the Atlantic Forest of south-eastern Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, southern Minas Gerais to extreme eastern São Paulo).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
High elevation Atlantic Forest, gardens
Behaviour
Its song is etherial and haunting.
