Ashy-breasted Flycatcher - BirdForum Opus

Identification

12·5–14 cm

  • Greyish-brown basic plumage
  • Short rounded wings

Distribution

South-east Asia: found in the northern Philippines (Luzon and Negros)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Formerly treated conspecific with Asian Brown Flycatcher.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests; generally below 1000m though occasionally seen at 1200m.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists mostly of small invertebrates, though there is little else known.
