Yeah they use those long talons and curved beak to extract the snails from their shells. I'm going to post a video soon of one doing that. And thanks!

What a use! And I'm excited for your upcoming post of a kite extracting a snail! I haven't ever seen that before, considering I live all the way across the states, where snail kites are no where in sight!
