Redpoll in deep snow (Acanthis flammea)

We had huge flocks of Redpolls and Siskins but then they all disappeared. Now both species have begun to visit the garden in small numbers.
Habitat
Garden
Location
Kagghamra, Grödinge, Sweden
Date taken
24th December 2023
Scientific name
Acanthis flammea
Equipment used
Canon R7, Canon EF 100-400mm F4.5-5.6L IS USM Mark II
So far this winter, I've only seen flocks of them zipping past when I'm out walking. Still waiting for this year's close-up opportunity. This shot is so cool, peeking up from deep snow :D

Thank you all very much indeed for taking the time to post these very positive comments on this Redpoll image!
