Friends but not relatives (Hydroprogne caspia, Platalea regia, Himantopus leucocephalus)

There was a little desert island in the middle of the pool which was absolutely covered with birds, including Royal Spoonbill, Caspian Tern, Pied Stilt and Grey Teal.

The Caspian Tern was a first for me - doesn't he have a huge bill!
