Pied Wagtail
Back to the hide for a short while and found this little wagtail hunting for insects on this island in front.

I was quite pleased at the detail I got for such a little bird.

Yeah, should be, because they move around pretty fast too. Super picture you got from a lovely angle; Delia!! tfs.
 
One of my favorite birds Delia...these wagtails are lively ones and not that shy at all!!! Terrific capture and a superb close up at that!!!
 
A lovely shot of that wagtail with nice plumage markings, Delia. Good lighting too. It looks as if the bird is trying not to get its feet wet.
