Collared Aracari
Collared Aracari (Pteroglossus torquatus torquatus) Sexes similar. Five subspecies have been described with 3-5 being recognized, author dependent. Two are mapped for Panama. The nominate is wide spread while subspecies sanguineus is mapped for eastern Panama. Photographed along the Ro Guayabo riparian in El Valle de Antn, Cocl Province, Panama. Humid rainforest at ca. ca. 622 m (2,042 ft) elevation.

Aren't they just such beautiful birds - a lovely picture Stanley.

I've never really been able to work out how they cope with those huge bills though LOL.
