Blues in the fading light
After watching yet another Kangaroo in the garage forecourt, we returned to the hotel and had a nice cool drink outside.

Suddenly Hans jumped up and ran across the road calling to me.

Peering over the fence into a yard, was this beauty... and Australian Ringneck. Thanks Hans... another beautiful Lifer and a great end to the day.

This is the Mallee type, found in the eastern side of their range.
