I’m thinking of buying the Nikon COOLPIX 950 and the cheapest online shopping including postage in the UK is an online shop called Idealo. Is this online shop reliable for online shopping?
It's a price comparisson website rather than a shop; head office in Germany, with just an admin office somewhere on London. You will be dealing with a 3rd party who may provide an attractive price but possibly a grey import.

I could be miles off here as I very rarely buy online, but isn't Idealo simply a price comparison website?
I've just googled: "Idealo, Nikon P950", and it has come up with Onbuy at 700 quid and Park Cameras at 800 quid.
When I was searching for a P950 the prices were the same and I went with Park Cameras as a more reputable outlet (on no evidential basis whatsoever on my part, but being a camera specialist was good enough for me).
I've just had a look at Onbuy and they are headquartered in Dorset and market themselves as an alternative to Amazon. Reading a few reviews, it seems to be a mixed bag in terms of customer satisfaction.
Speaking to a camera shop (LCE) in the UK, they said that they're having a real problem getting Nikon stock at the moment and didn't know when they would be getting any more P950s in. So I bought a used P900 from them, which so far I'm very pleased with. There's no indication that the P950 is being discontinued, just part of the whole global supply chain problem.
I bought one a few months back (am very happy with it). Think it is some mixture of crypto mining causing chip shortages and covid really hitting tech exports particularly from the Far East. Quite a few Japanese tech items have become next to impossible to source in the U.K.
I received an email that the Nikon Coolpix P550 Digital Camera has arrived in stock and I ordered it in the middle of November and it be delivered on Thursday of this week. I could have had it delivered earlier. But I took the premium delivery so I could choose the delivery day and I ordered from Wex Camera’s. I started a thread after I received my email on Friday of last week. So Nikon Coolpix P950 Digital Camera is back in stock. I think although the camera is now in stock, anyone ordering now looks as though they will have to wait, as looking at the website it says about this camera not in stock. Which I presume means there maybe a waiting list for this camera as it has been very popular by what I’ve seen and Herat. So looking at the Wex Camera website. The delivery of this camera maybe for those who had placed orders from a certain date. I’m just guessing about thar, just by looking at Wex Camera’s website.
