Identification
10–11 cm
- Green upperparts
- Off-white underparts
- Bold yellow supercilium
- Prominent yellow double wing bars
- Black and white pattern on the tertials
Distribution
Breeds in Asia and far northeastern Europe, east from just west of the Urals to China.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
There were formerly considered to be three subspecies, but humei and mandellii are now split as a separate species Hume's Leaf Warbler.
Habitat
Lowland and mountain woodlands.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes insects.
Breeding
They nest in a tree.
