Female - 74-75 cm
- Brown, black and buff bars and spots
- Paler underparts
- Shorter crest and tail
Distribution
South-east Asia: found in Annam, Laos and Malaya.

- R. o. ocellata:
- Mountains of central Vietnam and e Laos
- R. o. nigrescens:
- Mountains of central Malay Peninsula (Taman Nagara National Park)
Habitat
Humid forests.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes fruit, leaves, insects and small animals.
